I am an inclusive education specialist with eight years of
experience implementing inclusive teaching practices. I
specialize in intersectional and social-justice approaches to teaching and curriculum design with a focus on linguistic justice.
I am a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Rutgers University-New Brunswick completing my doctorate in Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition. I have a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Columbia University's Teachers College, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University.

During my graduate career, I have conducted and presented research that examined the intersection between language ideologies, language attitudes, stereotyping and discrimination, and educational practices. Currently, I am finishing my dissertation on the impact of linguistic stereotyping on employment opportunities in higher education for minoritized individuals.
